Nike has just opened “The Nature of Motion”, an exhibition event to be held during the Milan Design Week 2016 from April 12 through 17 in Milan, at Via Orobia 15.

The exhibition seeks to explore the potential of the human body in various ways. The exhibition space is hosting the works of ten progressive contemporary designers, who created their own interpretation of the idea of movement in relation to Nike. Some of them are conceptual, others are related to future technologies and others are of a more practical nature. Among the designers involved are Bertjan Pot, Martino Gamper, Clara Von Zweigbergk, Max Lamb, Lindsey Adelman, Greg Lynn.

Completing the installation is a series of experimental interpretations of Nike Flyknit sneaker models according to different needs and varying human movement aspects.

A series of talks are also planned during Milan's Salone del Mobile. The first talk will be given by Greg Lynn, who designed an intelligent interactive chair aimed at studying and improving the performance of basketball athletes. Also participating in the talk was John Hoke, VP Global Design, Nike.
