Swedish fashion brand Filippa K has recruited Alexander Schaper as their new senior designer man, effective August 1, 2014. He succeeds Morgan Sundburg.

German-born Schaper has previously been employed at Adidas where he most recently worked as category head designer at Adidas’ Fashion Group, being responsible for the Adidas SLVR and Black Line and the sportswear brand’s design collaborations with Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Tom Dixon.

“I have always been a fan of Scandinavian design and what Filippa K represents. Therefore it is very exciting to be a part of evolving and expanding the company’s menswear business,” said Alexander Schaper, who now works at Filippa K’s Stockholm office under design director Nina Bogstedt. His first collection will be for fall/winter 2015.
