Per Gasseholm has been appointed new CEO of Copenhagen-based upper streetwear label Wood Wood. He will work alongside Karl-Oskar Olsen and Brian SS Jensen, the two founders and designers of the brand.
Gasseholm has been working for international companies such as Levi Strauss or the Danish BTX Group and adds new business capacities, both strategic and operational, to the Wood Wood team.

“My first priority has been on strategic business initiatives with a focus on business and operational performance. To be successful in the branded lifestyle business you have to act like a brand – and behave like a retailer. A brand has to create consumer demand, but equally as important is to truly understand and cater to our retail partners around the world. No retailers without consumers, and weaker brands without retailers. Expect the brand to be much closer to the market and our retail partners in the future”, Gasseholm said about his future plans with Wood Wood.

Wood Wood was founded in 2002 and today runs own stores in Berlin, Vienna, Aarhus and Copenhagen as well as an own online store. Its contemporary streetwear collections are  moreover distributed at trend stores worldwide such as Totokaelo (US), Jonathan & Olivia (Canada), Beaker (South Korea), Hunting & Collecting (Belgium), End (UK) and SPRMRKT (NL).
