Vancouver, Canada–based footwear brand Native Shoes has released its latest collaboration, a line of three women’s “Jericho” models created in tandem with PLEATS PLEASE Issey Miyake. Part of Native’s spring/summer 2014 collection, the shoes retail for $65 and are being sold on Native’s US e-shop and select PLEATS PLEASE Issey Miyake shops in Japan.
The lightweight molded EVA shoes come in three color combinations: cantaloupe/bright yellow, light green/white and black/navy.

“This collaboration complements both our brand personalities as well as our international and stateside consumers,” said Shawna Olsten, vice president of global brand for Native Shoes. “PLEATS PLEASE Issey Miyake is iconic for its use of color and pushing design technology, this brand synergy made the outcome very natural and complementary in the final product.”

Native Shoes will officially unveil its spring/summer 2015 collection to the industry on Thursday at the Agenda show in Long Beach, California. There it will introduce a new model, “Apollo,” which is made of microfiber and based on a traditional moccasin silhouette.
