Swedish denim brand Nudie Jeans has reported its best operating profit in its 10-year history. “We are really happy that in spite of the difficult economic situation we still managed to further grow,” said Andreas Åhrmann, sales and marketing director of Nudie Jeans. “For 2010 we expect a growth of 30%.”
Meanwhile, the Swedish denim label is planning to become Italy’s biggest new denim brand, following its partnership with Interjeans and its nationwide showrooms and sales agents. “For us, Interjeans is the company that distributes the philosophy and the apparel of Nudie Jeans Co. to Italy’s best denim stores,” said Åhrmann.
Nudie Jeans, which was founded in 2001 by Maria Erixon, currently operates and owns nine flagship stores worldwide. In May of this year, the brand entered the Swiss market with a retail store in Zurich.
