WSN Developpement will unveil a new concept at the Carrousel du Louvre called "Under Le Louvre" this summer.

"The new event will not be a trade show but a new one-of-a-kind event,” said WSN Développement, organizer of the event, which will run from Jun. 26-28.

The event has two aims. “The first one is aimed to give insiders a new tool for supporting their selling season,” said organizers.

The fact remains that between March and September not many events are happening in France to help sell the season.

The second aim is to go beyond the commercial aspects and focus on cultural and communication issues.

“We have been witnessing a need aroused by the market in recent times. At present it is always more difficult for companies to communicate properly their own identity, tell their story and differentiate themselves in a crowded market," organizers explained.

"For this, we want to offer them the opportunity to meet and try to associate with most different art expressions such as, for instance, music, cinema, crafts, books, etc. The aim of this one-of-a-kind event is to discover new expressive horizons and find new tools to communicate the market one’s own identity,” organizers said.

In other news from the company, WSN Developpement will launch Who's next and Première Classe in Dubai. This is Dubai's very first professional fashion trade show in October, with exhibitors showcasing menswear, womenswear and accessories for S/S 2010.

WSN Développement plans to bring about 400 brands to Dubai, with approximately half of the exhibitors from France and the remaining half from abroad. More than a few womenswear, ready-to-wear, jeanswear and accessories brands are said to be enthusiastic about tapping the new market, among them American Vintage, Kocca, Heyu, Base London, Freesoul, Mellow Yellow, Pull-In, Appartement À Louer, Minority and Robert Clergerie.
