Normally shop openings in Paris only are happening in September after the long summer holidays. But at the moment there are lots of new arrivals and changes going on in the shopping area of ‘Rive Droite’, the right side of the Seine river.

Close to Marc by Marc Jacobs, on the more and more frequented Place du Marché St. Honoré, Chinese streetwear brand Hi Panda earlier had installed a pop-up store, which was transformed some weeks ago by famous French design ‘enfant terrible’ Ora-Ïtointo into a stylish and contemporary store on 23sqm. The architecture is dominated by the resin material Krion which can be modulated in any desired form. The shop looks like a small capsule with the trademark of Hi Panda in form of a big lightening on the ceiling. The shop offer includes fashion, toys, accessories, paintings and limited editions of Jiji, the founder of the brand, which is already present with 50 shops in China and Japan.

Moreover, in the Marais district, namely in the famous Rue des Rosiers, Spanish brand El Ganso opened its first self-operated monobrand store in France at the former location of Custo Barcelona. The label offers affordable urbanwear in a very preppy and 70ies style produced 100% in Europe. In a cosy atmosphere consisting of vintage furniture and wallpaper decoration on 40sqm the offer is restricted to menswear and men’s shoes.
