The WSA Show is getting a makeover for its upcoming February edition.

The new look and layout have been designed to promote an ease of shopping for fresher trends across all footwear categories.

“From a new look and feel to a merchandising plan and signage that is easy for buyers to shop, to lounges for networking and Internet access, ease and clarity to get business done is guiding our decisions,” said Diane Stone, Chief Operating Officer, of the changes.

“Today, it is more important than ever for buyers to come to one place where they can experience all the trends and see more product in less time, and this is the environment they will experience in February in Las Vegas.”

Among the changes are additional product categories to improve brand coherence, smaller booths on the main aisles to redirect buyers to new and established brands with trend-driven products, a brand new floor layout with bolder signage and decorative elements for easier navigation, and lounges with rest areas and Internet access to facilitate better onsite business.

The junior, contemporary and women’s footwear segments have also been rebranded as “Junior-Contemporary-Modern,” featuring brands such as Steve Madden, Chinese Laundry, Dolce Vita, Jeffrey Campbell, Brown Shoe and Nine West, while “Fashion Active” will throw the spotlight on athletic and junior contemporary products related to skate and street trends, with brands such as Skechers, K-Swiss and Ed Hardy.

Other key changes include an expansion of “The Box,” which features brands such as Velvet Angels, Boutique 9, Jessica Simpson, United Nude, Tracy Reese, Gwyneth, Miss Sixty and Dulce, and a new three-day format for The Collections at WSA. C7, dedicated to progressive athleisure and European footwear, will move from the 7th floor of the Venetian to the Bellini Ballroom. Brands here include Auri, Bacco Bucci, Camper, Diesel, DETNY by Shane & Shawn, Fly London, Hudson, Hunter Boots and Ryan Rowe.

The WSA Show runs at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center and the Sands Expo Center from February 12-14. The Collections at WSA will take place concurrently at the Venetian Hotel.
