This fall, GDS 2004, International Shoe Trade Fair will have a new layout. The fair will be organized into three main exhibit halls that will allow visitors to view the many brands in an easier and more efficient manner. The fair will be divided as follows:

Global Sources in halls 3-5 will feature "International Basics" which includes shoes in the lower price points in leather, canvas, and synthetic fabrics. These halls will not focus on brand awareness, but rather price and volume as the draw for buyers.

Contemporary in Halls 8-11 will focus on "Top Style and Exclusivity." Here, the top bracket shoes and accessories, along with high-end quality shoes and avant-garde/trendy styles will be exhibited.

Casual & Campus in Halls 12-16 will show "Young Fashion", "Lifestyle & Sports", "Wellness & Comfort" and "Kid's Corner". This is the place to go for offbeat and one-of-a-kind trendy shoes, sportswear collections from highly recognizable brands, health-oriented shoes and shoes for children.

The fair will also hold regularly scheduled catwalk presentations in Hall 17. GDS 2004 will be held from 16-19 September in Dusseldorf, Germany.
