Munichfabricstart Veranstaltungen GmbH in Munich, organizer of fabrics fairs such as Munich Fabric Start and Blue Zone, is launching a new show called View.

The show for the spring/summer 2010 collections is scheduled to run from December 9-10 and therefore will be much earlier than other European fabrics shows such as Première Vision in Paris, which is in February.

Approximately 80 to 100 collections are expected to show, among them 20 to 30 of the most important German fabric agencies. “The early schedule is important for certain clients,” says Wolfgang Klinder, co-founder of Munich Fabric Start. Fashion-oriented collections require an early date, he suggested additionally.

The early date corresponds to previous changes in the show schedule. Première Vision and Milano Unica will start about one week earlier next year. That means Munich Fabric Start (Feb. 3-5) and Milano Unica (Feb. 3-6) will be held at the same time, followed by Première Vision only four days later (Feb. 10-13).

Meanwhile, Denim by Première Vision, which started at the end of 2007, will continue to show early in the season, from Dec. 3-4, reflecting the general trend in earlier fabric shows.

View will be held on three floors at the Prisco Showrooms at Prinzregentenplatz in Munich.
