Fashion label QS by s.Oliver has appointed Guido Johnen as new Division Head male, going into effect on October 1. Johnen will take over from Alex Ibakasap, who will be leaving the company at the end of the month of his own accord.

Johnen previously served as Head of Design at s.Oliver’s young and sporty Casual segment. The 46-year-old studied textile engineering at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Mönchengladbach and has also occupied several leading design and sales positions at both Marc O’Polo International and Esprit Wholesale.

As Division Head male, Ibakasap has worked to further develop the design direction of s.Oliver’s youthful, trend-oriented QS label since 2010. He now wishes to move on “to pursue new professional challenges,” according to the company.
