The new concept of the recent summer '04 edition of ispovision--Munich's international trade show for lifestyle and fashion inspired by sports--was such a success, that the shows exhibitors and visitors, including media, urged for a continuation of it for the upcoming winter '05 installment. The winter '05 show will be held February 6 - 9, 2005, again, at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. Brands such as Bogner, Casall, Chervo, Girbaud, Francesco Rossi, Marinepool, Matador, Misericordia, Sebago and Sportalm have all been confirmed.

The new "style city" concept, which was improved after the show's premiere last February, featured a new hall and a more well rounded mix of both commercial brands and innovative new labels. Segments included Premium Sportstyle, Sportstyle Sneakers, Sportstyle Future, Yachting Style and the newly added Golf Style. The winter '05 show continue this concept, as well as others--the fashion show, GQ Style Night (presented by Conde Nast) and the Global Sports Style Award--and even feature a "Best Of" area where collection and trend highlights will be shown from the shows different communities. Winners of this year's first-ever Global Sports Style Award 2004 were given to Aasics, Napapijri, Converse, Dunlop and Adidas and were presented by a jury composed of editors from respected textile and fashion publications, as well as national and international fashion and sports dealers.

Moving forward with its successful concept, ispovision hopes to be the ideal trading center for the overlapping fashion and sports sector. Ispovision manager Jacqueline Sasse says, "We are going to maintain the successful concept of ispovision summer '04 and optimize it further to do justice to the existing demand of the market and expand ispovision even more as the leading trade fair for the sports style segment."
