Rag & Bone (rag-bone.com) co-founder Nathan Bogle (pictured) has parted ways with the award-winning New York-based brand. In an e-mail sent earlier today, he wrote, “There have been various differences in the creative and management side of things within the company for a while and I felt that moving on would be the best thing for me.”

He added that he plans to launch his own line in fall 2007.

A transplanted English model-turned-designer, Bogle started the collection, which began as a small line of simple, unadorned men’s jeans and tees, with business partners Marcus Wainwright and David Neville in 2002. Since then, Rag & Bone has expanded to include full collections of critically lauded dressier men’s and women’s items – including shirts, suits, overcoats and knits – and has shown at New York Fashion Week.

Carried by some of the world’s best specialty stores, the line was the winner of the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award for menswear in January 2006.
