Munich-based sneaker brand Nat-2 has collaborated with the Swiss-German design collective We Love Kicks for its Vandalized Tour. For these guys, sneakers aren’t just footwear but a way of life, collectors’ items and status symbols. Wanting to express this enthusiasm, several Swiss and German artists worked on art objects and wearable sneaker styles to meld contemporary art with fashion. Prices of the 30 hand-manufactured pairs based on four Nat-2 styles range between €200-800. The styles will make their debut at major trade shows such as Bread & butter, Micam and in the cities of Lucerne, Basel and Zurich. Nat-2’s art project first gained attention at Compass and Pool in Las Vegas and at Bread & butter in Barcelona.
