Industry veteran Marty Staff has yet another new gig.
Staff, who has worked in fashion for 40-plus years, is the new president of the branded division and new business development at The Siskind Group, a 35-year-old New York–based company that owns and licenses trademarks. Its current brand portfolio, which it plans to expand soon with additional menswear names, includes ABS Denim Collection, Harvé Benard and Larry Levine.

Prior to joining Siskind, Staff served as president of new business development at American Apparel, president and CEO of JA Apparel (Joseph Abboud), CEO of Hugo Boss USA, president and COO of the Calvin Klein Menswear division of GFT USA, senior VP of retail development and licensing at Calvin Klein and VP of sales at Polo Ralph Lauren. He began his career at Bloomingdale’s in 1972 and went on to serve in numerous roles at that department store.

“Marty has demonstrated a unique ability to focus brands, create excitement with brands and build franchise businesses with the best stores in America,” said Siskind Group president Jon Siskind in a statement. “His arrival signals that The Siskind Group remains committed to building its branded business.”
