Four new business unit managers are to strengthen the team of German sportswear retailer SportScheck.
The newly created position of division manager buying will be occupied by Roland Patrick Stiefel, former merchandising director of Swiss retailer Manor AG. Starting in August, he will guide the creative category management in the buying unit.
Paul Stahala will become head of brand strategy & community management, a newly created role, from mid-September on. The 38-year-old formerly worked as a consultant for several marketing agencies and will remain ski instructor at Sportscheck’s skiing school Vivalpin.
Last February, Francois Debeaud took over the responsibility for the retail business. Debeaud most recently worked for Aldi Nord Group in Germany and France.
Last in line of new business unit managers is Andrea Drumm, formerly working in the same position at Media-Saturn Group, who will succeed Hermann Dremmel in human resources.
Wolfgang Alt, who became head of the department corporate development in July, formerly led strategic and operative projects at Otto Group Consulting, and reports directly to CEO Markus Rech.
