Mittelmoda, the international fashion competition, will be taking place again in Gorizia, Italy on July 1, 2011, awarding prizes to some of the best emerging fashion design talents.
The admission committee will accept submissions from individuals, pairs, and groups across all disciplines involved in the creation and in the making of apparel and accessory collections (both menswear and womenswear) which can be created without any theme restriction. The deadline for submitting applications is April 4, 2011.
The first prize within the Mittelmoda Award will be worth €10,000 plus other special awards including the Levi’s® Award and the Lectra/Kaledo Award, just to name a few.
Levi's ® Special Prize “Sustainability Through Innovation", for instance, is a unique opportunity given to young designers and creative fashionistas to experiment and broaden their creative horizons either with a collection for menswear or womenswear to be awarded with €5,000 (regulations for submission and Levi’s Awards’ briefs are available here.
The final fashion show 2011 will take place on Friday, July 1, in Gorizia, Italy.
