Berlin brand Michalsky has spiced up the iconic 1964 “Multiplex” sneaker by the traditional sport shoe manufacturer Brütting. The footwear collection, all handmade in Germany, comes in nine different fabrics, including saurian leather, with one style offering Swarovski crystals. Every sneaker has a unique name; seven have been named after the seven deadly sins, while two basic styles in black and white leather are called “Diabolus” and “Angelus.” The two styles “Luxuria” and “Indivia” come in a limited run of 100 pairs. Retail prices range from €200-€1000. As designer Michael Michalsky puts it, “With this collaboration, we want to reach a totally new target group.”
