In order to restructure its shoe segment, Mexx has signed a long-term partnership with specialized footwear design and sourcing agency, Yoko International. Simultaneously, the Mexx team will be strengthened by Andreas Neuhaus as Global Product Manager and Sales Director Footwear. He will be responsible for the entire shoe segment, and together with Yoko International, he will be in charge of the management of several footwear activities. For the last four years, 50-year old Neuhaus was holding the position of Sales Manager Germany, Austria and Switzerland at Mexx.

Mexx is convinced that the partnership with Yoko International will be very well accepted by the market and thus the development of the Mexx footwear segment will receive a boost. Mexx CEO Thomas Grote said: “We are sure, that the partnership with Yoko International will give the quality and the design of the Mexx footwear collection a new drive, and that the Mexx vision ‘metropolitan casual’ will be expressed at all times.”

The first Mexx footwear collection which is produced in collaboration with Yoko International will be the fall/winter 2011 collection that will hit stores in July of 2011.
