Swiss-born footwear brand MBT has just inaugurated its 10th Italian monobrand store and second Milanese one.

The new 70-sq.meter flagship occupies two levels in Milan’s central shopping street via Cusani 7 and is characterised by the newly launched store concept that is adding up to the about 200 monobrand stores already opened worldwide in about 50 countries where MBT is sold.

The store’s image reminds some of the typical elements of MBT’s footwear brand like the shoes’ curved ergonomic and balancing soles, and metallic mesh panels similar to the upper of some innovative sneaker models.

While celebrating the 10th store opening in Italy, MBT has just launched a limited edition of one of its most iconic model Kisumu for s/s 2015 reinterpreted according to a mix of fluorescent colors, animal prints and black and white artworks.

Other recent openings in Italy include the Venice Boutique inaugurated in Autumn 2014, near the Santa Lucia railway station. Two more stores are expected to open in Florence by the end of 2014 and another one in Rome in early 2015.
