Maison Martin Margiela and Cutler and Gross have joined forces to launch their first eyewear licence. The ‘Line 8 Eyewear collection’ includes two lines: while ‘anatomic’ offers an enlarged rounded shape covering the eyes to protect the complete visual field, ‘wrong size’ includes a geometric play on the lenses which appear not fitting the frame. All glasses are handmade in Italy and made out of black or dark turtle acetate. The collection will be available starting November at all Maison Martin Margiela stores and selected retailers.

Since they founded Cutler and Gross in 1969, Graham Cutler and Tony Gross have gained deep experience in producing eyewear. From a medical necessity, they slowly developed it into a high quality item shaped by British flair and hand-manufacturing.
