Following months of research, planning, surveys and development, Advanstar/MAGIC International has announced a fresh new direction for its show floors next February. Plans include a renewed focus on category segmentation, strategic navigation and a hip aesthetic.

Project Global Tradeshow will be repositioned, in an effort to bring the show back to its roots. The new Project will feature a juried assortment of “advanced” directional brands, combining the best of the best men’s, women’s and accessories brands. Come February, the show will also debut in a new location, The Mandalay Bay Convention Center, with a reinterpreted and clearly defined vision that allows buyers to source new trends and market leaders and shop the show floor in a more intimate environment.

MAGIC Man is also launching Premium at MAGIC, featuring an expanded assortment of menswear set against a backdrop designed by the Kramer Design Group, the design and branding firm. In addition, MAGIC Man will host an exclusive contingency of international menswear brands, a custom-designed runway experience and a selection of like-minded lounges and galleries.

The February 2009 MAGIC Marketplace will run from Feb. 17-19, while Project will take place from Feb. 18-20.
