For its upcoming edition on 18-22 September, London Fashion Week (LFW) has just announced that it will move to the Brewer Street Car Park in Soho, an iconic art deco building designed by architect JJ Joass that has become a key creative space for a variety of audiovisual shows, events and installations. Last season, the British Fashion Council (BFC) and British Council used the space for the International Fashion Showcase, an open-to-the-public festival where over 110 emerging designers from nearly 30 countries exhibited their collections. Previously, LFW has been held at the Somerset House.

Caroline Rush, CEO British Fashion Council, commented: “"The long term growth of the UK’s designer fashion market is reflected geographically in this move that will see London Fashion Week designers showcasing collections in one of London’s most vibrant, diverse and creative hubs set within a mile of Bond Street, Dover Street, Mount Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street."

The provisional schedule of LFW will be announced around the 20th of July.
