Levi’s has just opened a new 180 square meters store in the city center of Bologna, in Via Clavature 16. This point of sale will dedicate more space to the 501® Customized & Tapered (CT) model, a new pair of jeans for both men and women with a slightly wider fit around the waist and hips that becomes tighter from knee to ankle.

For years, the fans of 501 CT let tailors adjust this denim model or customized it personally in order to get this effect. Levi’s offers it now directly in stores, available in various fits -slim, regular and baggy- and finishes.

“Bologna is an art and culture city. It is trendy and young, simply perfect to host our new store,” commented Santiago Cuchy, vice president Levi Strauss & Co. South Europe. “This store will present most iconic and cool Levi’s items to citizens, tourists, jeans fans and style-seekers.”

On offer there will also be Levi’s® 501 five-pockets, denim shirts and trucker jackets. The spring/summer 2015 collection will also be featured as of January 2015, being the first one designed by Jonathan Cheung, head of design Levi’s and inspired by the brand’s place of birth, San Francisco.
