The department store Le Printemps in Paris opened a space dedicated to trendy sneakers. The fourth floor of the flagship store  in Paris has a new attraction: last Thursday “La Sneakers Library” had its official opening, presenting a new space of 90 square meters in the best frequented heart of the level, near the staircase. The new space is flanked by the new denim bar and different smaller designers shop-in-shops.  For example the English contemporary fashion brand Whistles and the designer brand Helmut Lang are next to.

The sneakers library presents about twenty fashionable and iconic sneakers brands like Nike, Adidas, American College, Startas, New Balance, Puma, Converse, Faguo, No Name and Veja. The consumers can choose between 400 different models. A big part of this offer contains limited editions. For the launch of the new space Le Printemps presents seven exclusive models, one from Puma and six from Converse (Auckland Racer Converse with leopard print). The exclusive offer will be continued and exchanged on a regular basis.

The space is designed in a wave shape with illuminated shelves and a seating area in the middle of the drawn-out space with two entrances. The design is made in-house and constitutes a quite modern attitude with a slight fifties hint.
