Lotto Sport Italia, the Italian sportswear brand, has signed an agreement with China’s Li Ning to produce and distribute Lotto footwear in China. The agreement, effective in September, is for 20 years.

Li Ning Company, headquartered in Beijing and with offices and logistical centers all around China, will distribute Lotto’s collections in monobrand stores and shop-in-shops in major department stores across Asia. The affiliate Lotto Sport H.K. Ltd. will continue to distribute footwear and apparel in Hong Kong and Macau.

Said Andrea Tomat, Chairman and CEO of Lotto Sport Italia, of the partnership recently: “We have obviously set ambitious turnover goals and expect to reach overall sales for more than €60 million in 2013 through at least 600 monobrand Lotto stores around the country. China represents a key market for all companies so it is naturally at the center of Lotto's worldwide expansion activities.”
