Levi Strauss Germany GmbH has appointed Lubna Sakati as new Expansion Manager with immediate effect. Lubna Sakati most previously worked as Expansion Manger for CBR Companies and was in charge of the regions Bavaria and Austria. In her new position at Levi’s, the 31-year-old will implement the Levi Strauss Europe retail strategy in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and will oversee the further regional expansion. The trained insurance agent and graduated business economist, succeeds Marcus Bez who leaves the company in order to pursue other career-related challenges. Lubna Sakati directly reports to Dimitros Vlizos, Retail Director German Group.

Levi Strauss & Co. is being distributed to more than 110 countries and in 2010 was able to generate a turnover of $4.4 billion. The Levi Strauss Europe, Middle East and North Africa division with their headquarters in Brussels, coordinates local subsidiaries, license holders as well as distributors and sells Levis Strauss & Co. products in 65 countries.
