After 30 active years within the sports industry, Len Langenberg resigned from all of his operational functions at Unlimited Sports Group. The management board of the group, led by his business partner Jos Gillebaard, will carry on his tasks.

Len started his career in the sports industry in 1980 with the opening of a sneaker store on Ferdinandbolstraat, Amsterdam. The opening of new stores followed quickly, growing up to a chain of seven stores, which soon became a market leader in the Netherlands. At its peak, Sportsworld was sold to Foot Locker Europe where Len Langenberg became Buying Director Footwear Europe.

After having worked at Foot Locker for one and a half year, he returned to the family business Teamsport, which at that time was a licensee of Umbro. Together with Wil Langenberg and Jos Gillebaard, he has helped this company grow in the Benelux states, Germany and Austria. Following the acquisition of Aktie Sport in 2002, the company has gone through steady growth both in brands and in retail. In 2006, Unlimited Sports Group was established and, at the same time, the acquisition of Perry Sport was completed.
