It's been announced that the iconic fashion label Ossie Clark is to be revived, following its purchase by Marc Worth, a co-founder of WGSN.

Epitomizing the swinging sixties in London, Ossie Clark's fluid dresses featuring prints by Celia Birtwell exuded hedonistic and carefree glamour.

As evident in the case of the somewhat failed attempt to re-launching Biba, it’s no mean feat to convincingly revive a label that at the time of is peak helped to shape an era. To witness if Ossie Clark will sit as comfortably in the noughties as it did in the ‘60’s and 70´’s, we’ll have to wait until next season when the label will show its premiere collection at London Fashion Week under the creative direction of designer Avsh Alom Gur.
