On Apr. 24-25 the interactive streetwear exhibition and music show Faces & Laces celebrated its third edition in Moscow.

For two days the ex-soviet pavilion ¨Cosmos¨ at the V.V.C. exhibition center was transformed into a creative fusion of installations, sounds and people. Over 50 participants showcased their work there this time, with major sponsors and brands including Adidas, Nike, Puma, Reebok, Lacoste and Krink. Foreign headliners were mixed up with local participants in the right proportion.

Overall, organizers focused on the most relevant and interesting content. The main audience of the event was a mix of graffiti-artists, designers, illustrators, musicians, distributors, retailers, buyers and various communities, all involved in streetwear culture.

Accordingly, the event program was rich with activities. In special gallery spaces everyone could see the artworks of Craig Costello (KR), Olivier Kosta-Thefaine, Zedz, Superblast and PSKR and meet their creators; Ezekiel, Destroy skateshop and Nike SB organized a ramp for young skateboarders; CTRL brand from Finland was selling out samples and presenting their collaboration with graffiti artist Aske (Sicksystems) and there was also a special Obey installation. At the pop-up gallery StreetKit was the exhibition "Flowmasters," showcasing artworks of 15 street artists from different countries. Meanwhile, the Traektoria Boardshop booth offered visitors the opportunity to try out a new board. Local retailers and web shops, such as Kixbox, Destroy, Yaminyami and FOTT Shop, even introduced a conceptual approach to their product selection.

To highlight the music side of the street lifestyle, the Label Corner space offered the most prominent Moscovite music labels, including Algorythmik, Nervmusic, Between Us, How2Make, Highway Records, Shanti Records and Toy Piano.
