Italian women’s brand Kocca has registered +25% growth in 2013, when compared with 2012. Its revenues amount to €53 million and EBITDA grew +63%, with the net profit tripled at €2.3 million (€0.7 million in 2012).

Andrea Miranda, chairman, Kocca, commented: “In 2013 we focused on and succeeded in our project of consolidating the growth of the Kocca brand in the strategic women’s fashion & lifestyle markets. We also reached excellent results in terms of revenues (€53 million), margin and net profit. The international brand expansion plan has been developing season after season, through the opening of monobrand stores, showcasing the originality of the brand.”

In 2014 they opened new flagship stores in major Italian and European cities. At present they have opened 26 Kocca Stores in Italy and four in Russia.

In 2013 they have also joined Elite, Milan’s Italian Stock Exchange program designed to support the growth of small and medium Italian enterprises, by strengthening their business, fostering internationalization and introducing them to the capital markets.

With its 200 employees and €53 million of consolidated revenue in 2013, the Group has currently 30 mono-brand stores and is present with 600 multi-brand stores all over Italy. Its overseas revenues accounted for 23% (20% in 2012). The Kocca brand is available in more than 1,600 monobrand shops internationally and distributed in more than 20 countries, with a sales network including Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany and Belgium. It is also sold in Mexico, Lebanon, Taiwan and China mostly through department stores and travel retail (transport hubs such as airports and train stations).

By end 2014 the Group is expecting to increase its presence abroad reaching 40% of its revenues from foreign markets while planning to open new direct stores in Italy and overseas.
