The French brand Kaporal5 is launching a premium denim collection for the fall/winter 2009-10 season.

The new range is called Kaporar and the collection contains six cuts each for men and women. The range is produced from Japanese denim. Details such as stonewashing and fewer embellishments differ from the main line. The prices will be about 30% higher than the normal Kaporal5 collection, around €120-150. The distribution focus is on self-owned flagships and selected multi-brand stores for now.

Kaporal5, founded five years ago by Laurent Emsellem and the daughter enterprise of Mc’Lem, produces jeans, shirts and sweaters for men and women, as well as footwear and leather jackets and bags. The Marseille brand maintains distribution through its own shops in France and Europe.
