J.Crew has opened its second New York-based men’s store in SoHo. Keeping the vintage vibe it used for the first men’s shop in TriBeCa (aka The Liquor Store), the 3,406-sq.-foot store, located between Madewell and the two-month-old Topshop flagship on Broadway, is divided into four galleries. There’s an edited collection of J.Crew favorites here as well as a plethora of tasteful accessories, ranging from Baracuta jackets and Superior Label canvas bags to Timex watches, Persols, Russell moccasins and even vintage ID bracelets. More significantly, the latest outpost houses J.Crew’s first Suiting Shop, which offers variations of J.Crew’s classic Alridge style and the recently launched slimmer Ludlow style. The added stock of Thomas Mason shirts, exclusive Alden shoes and a denim bar transforms this store into a true one-stop destination for gents to spruce up their wardrobes.
