Isko, in collaboration with Archroma, has announced the winners of the I-Skool Denim Marketing Award project promoted by Isko, Archroma and Moleskine. The winners were announced in Rome, at Sapienza University, under the supervision of the marketing and communication agency Menabò Group, 28 May 2014.

Strategic approach, innovation, feasibility, creativity and lateral thinking were the criteria that led the evaluation of the contest, a part of the Isko I-Skool project, with a one-day workshop which took place at Sapienza University on that same day. The educational initiative organized by denim manufacturer Isko was dedicated to students in their Post-Graduate Fashion Management course at Sapienza University.

The students were asked to develop a complete marketing platform for a new collection employing Isko denims and Archroma’s innovative Advanced Denim sustainable technology that enables to reduce water consumption by up to 92%; usual cotton waste up to 87% and up to 30% of energy costs. The project included the creation of graphic design for product identity, all-round communication strategy, together with promotional events.

The Denim Marketing Award jury was composed of Marco Lucietti, Global Marketing Director Sanko/Isko division, Albert Llort, Marketing Manager Special Dyes, Archroma, Elisa Ravaglia, co-owner of the marketing and communication agency Menabò Group, Fabiana Giacomotti, Head of Fashion and Costume Studies at Sapienza and Paola Canestrari, branding teacher of the Post-Graduate Fashion Management course at La Sapienza.

The overall winner was the team led by Roberta Lafosse Magli, together with her colleagues Chiara Manes and Nicoletta Pelliccia, for the project Mine-D. The team won an internship for the team leader, while all the members will be honored at the award ceremony during the Premium fair show in Berlin. Moreover, they will all be invited to the İsko Marketing Seminar in Italy in September, where marketing representatives of important fashion brands worldwide will participate.
The winner will be awarded on 9th July in Berlin, during the Premium Exhibitions show.

The second team is the one led by Raffaella Longo Rinaldi, with her colleagues Anastasia Ceppi and Alessia Farina, for the project Jeanim. They won an internship for the team leader in Amsterdam and all of them will be invited to the Isko Marketing Seminar in Italy.
