Illesteva conquers the west coast: The eyewear and accessories brand opened its second ever own retail store last week in Venice, California.

The 650 square foot (60 sqm) store is housed in a historic building from the 1950s and was furnished by Patch Designs from Los Angeles. It carries the whole Illesteva product line from optical frames and sunglasses to leather bags, umbrellas and more. There is also a “Build Your Own” area where customers can customize frames.

Since 2010, Illesteva manufactures handmade glasses in France and Italy. The brand's first own stores opened in New York last October. In context of the Venice opening, CEO Daniel Silberman expressed his “plan on opening three more stores on the west coast by the end of 2016”.
