A new name, a new location and a new deal. New York's installment of To Be Confirmed (TBC) has officially changed its name to "Confirmed" after it announced a partnership with menswear trade show The Collective--produced by ENK International. The joint deal was announced on June 24 and is allowing The Collective to take over operations and development of the new Confirmed trade show, while TBC organizers will maintain and oversee the shows creative side.

"They've always put on very professional productions, so they're helping us in that area," says Pearl Lee, TBC's show manager. "But we maintain the creative and keep the edge of what TBC's always been about."

TBC, and now Confirmed, features the latest collections in menswear, womenswear, fashion accessories and footwear from around the globe. It's London and Tokyo shows will remain unchanged.

Confirmed will be held in the historic USS Intrepid, the decommissioned World War II aircraft carrier turned museum, which is located at the Hudson River on 46th Street and 12th Ave., adjacent to Pier 94 at 55th Street and 12th Ave. where the Collective show is held. A direct walkway will link the two venues enabling easy access to both the shows' attendees. TBC was formerly held at 601 W. 26th Street.

Confirmed will run from July 18 - 19 and The Collective will run from July 18 - 20. For more information on To Be Confirmed trade shows visit www.2beconfirmed.com.
