After two editions the denim fair JAM ( will leave Munich in favor of Cologne, where this summer’s event will run 13-14 July at Rheinparkhallen, owned by Kölnmesse GmbH.

Organizers had outgrown the space at Munich Kesselhaus and Zenith Halle where they showed in February, and the new location will provide more than 20,000 sq. meters for exhibitors. Organizer Sebastian Klinder explained: “We didn’t expect JAM to develop on such a positive and fast level that we have to move to a bigger location.”

Sales and Marketing Manager Günther Sommer added: “One important thing about Cologne is its central position within Germany and the closeness of Benelux, which will attract more and new visitors and exhibitors. 80% of our existing exhibitor portfolio advocates our decision as well as our new exhibitors such as Ben Sherman, Campus by Marc O´Polo, Dickies, Timezone and True Religion Footwear to name a few.”

The concept of JAM remains the same so far as branding and exhibiting costs, though stands this time will be larger. For future editions organizers plan to initiate seminars and forums covering topics such as color trends, new materials and silhouettes.
