After nine years of working there, Peter Knoll is going to leave the Ispo Group at the end of 2005. Knoll, the exhibition director for Ispo (International Trade Fair of Sports Equipment and Fashion) will move to the sports-equipment industry. Quiksilver Europe, a subsidiary of Quiksilver Inc. based in Jean de Luz, France has announced that he will be the new general manager of Quiksilver Germany and Russia.

Appointed as project coordinator for Ispo Group, Knoll played a pivotal role in the restructuring of Ispo and successfully led the internationalization of the Munich-based trade show, namely with the launches of Ispo China and Ispo Russia.

Ispo Group will continue its work in its existing formation under coordination of Tobias Gröber. The team is as follows: Mick Wallace is project manager of Ispo Russia, Stefan Reschke is project manager of Ispo China and area manager for the Asian-Pacific region. Armin Wittman is still head of project group Golf Europe and Fairway, Marion Theil is responsible for ispovision and Florian Weingärtner is head of the marketing and communications department of the Ispo Group. Manfred Wutzlhofer, the CEO Messe München GmbH, remains responsible for the management.
