The Parisian brand IRO will open its first stand-alone store in Germany at the end of this month. For the entry in the market, where IRO has already been distributed through different department stores and multibrand shops since several years, the brand chose Munich as place for business. With its 173 square meters, the boutique is located on the prestigious street Residenzstraße, in the heart of the historic center and in a high frequented shopping district.

The interior design stays in line with the style of the shops in Paris and resumes the cool identity of the brand. The two creators of the brand, Arik and Laurent Bitton, have worked closely on a concept of mixing an industrial aspect with premium materials such as American walnut or untreated marble. Large concrete columns and minimalistic metal hallstands provide a stylistic contrast to the noble wooden paneling. The store design is thought to express a laid back old town feeling.
The official opening of the store is scheduled for the 26 of May. For its opening, the Munich store introduces the Women, Men and Accessories collections for Spring/Summer 2014, IRO Jeans line as well as the new leather jacket for children.
