Madrid’s powerful show organizer IFEMA is setting up a new fair based on an outlet concept that will take place from April 17-19 at Feria de Madrid.

Offering direct sales of items to the general public, Stock Outlet will carry apparel, footwear, accessories and sports clothing made by leading brands from previous seasons and at marked-down prices.

The fair should prove useful to companies aiming to liquidate inventory rapidly, yet the fair remains open to fashion manufacturers, traders, importers and retailers that already have their own selling-points for the general public.

The inaugural show at Hall 5 at Feria de Madrid could occupy an exhibition space of 6,000 sq. meters.

Currently IFEMA’s events include CIBELES, Madrid Fashion Week; SIMM, Madrid International Fashion Fair; ModaCalzado+Iberpiel; Iberjoya and Bisutex. It recently incorporated Las Mil y Una Bodas (“One Thousand and One Weddings”) and Puerta de Europa International Bridal Fashion Exhibition into its show calendar.
