With decreased support from corporate America, Gen Art, the leading arts and entertainment organization, is staging a 15th anniversary benefit on Jun. 24 to help celebrate its success and ensure its ongoing support of young emerging talent from all corners of the globe. I Love Gen Art will feature an exhibition of works of over 60 of emerging/mid-career artists working in mixed media or are Gen Art alumni or have been affiliated with the organization’s programs over the years. Featured will be works by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, Martha Cooper, Claw Money, Ju$t Another Rich Kid and many others. Artwork will also be up for sale. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Gen Art Foundation that has been critical in introducing some of American fashion’s best known names, including Zac Posen, Phillip Lim and Duckie Brown.
