German company Hugo Boss is introducing a new women's collection for the FW 10 season. Designed as a counterpart to the successful Boss Green Menswear collection, Boss Green Womenswear will be presented to dealers for the first time in January 2010 and made available in stores the following July.

Like Boss Green Menswear, the new women's collection will deliver premium sportswear designed to transcend the boundary between leisure and performance wear. Inspired by golfing, the looks appeal to trend-conscious active women who enjoy wearing casual and contemporary sportswear both on and off the golf course. Also reinforced by the positive response of the global market, Boss Green Womenswear has now been created to offer a look from the Hugo Boss brand world that complements the classic elegance of Boss Black, the modern casualwear of Boss Orange, and the avant-garde edge of Hugo Womenswear, while answering the strong market demand for premium women's sportswear.

The first Boss Green Womenswear Collection will encompass 110 items and is positioned in the premium price segment. The style-defining pieces include rugby shirts, feminine dresses, printed tees, relaxed sweatshirts and jersey pants. Primary product groups include polo shirts in a rich range of fits and colors, blouses in fresh plaids, and knitwear. The ready-to-wear segment meanwhile will be rounded out by laid-back jeans in various washes, cotton trousers, and outerwear such as down jackets.

Established in 2004, Boss Green is an extension of the Boss Golf Collection. Since 2006, Senior Head of Creative Management José Janga and his team have been responsible for designing the signature Boss Green look.
