Skate retailers Keith Hufnagel and Hanni El Khatib have collaborated with Converse on a special Huf version of the Skidgrip, a shoe from the Converse archives that originally debuted in the 1980s, for the legendary sneaker brand’s 1HUND(RED) project. Keeping the styling clean and chic, Huf treated the monochromatic black canvas uppers with a repeating “H” pattern and lining that subtly references vintage skate graphics and type. Available as of Saturday, the Huf for Converse 1HUND(RED) Artists Skidgrip Hi shoe currently retails for $75 in sizes 3.5-13. A portion of net wholesales will go to help fight AIDS in Africa.
