The Hong Kong Trade Development Council announced the dates for the next edition of the two exhibitions it is hosting in Hong Kong: HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week for fall/winter and HKTDC World Boutique will take place simultaneously from January 17-21, 2011. Hong Kong Fashion Week is the second largest fashion fair in the world. In 2010, the fair hosted over 1,700 exhibitors from 24 countries. It features many different specialized zones including intimate wear, accessories, fabrics and kidswear.

At World Boutique’s previous edition, many pavilions such as the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association, which introduced 14 Hong Kong fashion designers, were featured. Other pavilions included the Netherlands pavilion, the Taiwan Textile Federation pavilion and the debut of The Underground Quarter by Londonedge pavilion. During the exhibition, numerous runway shows were staged to display the latest designs of both Hong Kong and international designers and brands.
