H&M’s sustainable „Conscious Collection“ gets an artistic make over by teaming up with Parisian Musée des Arts Decoratifs. On 7 April, 2016, the collection titled “H&M Conscious Exclusive 2016” launches simultaneously with the opening of the greatly anticipated exhibition “Fashion forward – Three centuries of fashion” at the Palais du Louvre in Paris.
H&M will be the exclusive sponsor of the exhibition, which will contain selected styles from the H&M archives as well as one garment from the Conscious Exclusive Collection, while style icon and daughter of former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld, Julia Restoin Roitfeld will be the face of the campaign.
For the sustainable collection, the design team of the Swedish retailer worked closely together with the museum, drawing inspiration from the archives and museum’s own collections. The result is a glamorous line of red carpet pieces with nostalgic and historical features.
The entire collection will be available in 180 stores around the world starting 7 April, 2016.
