Today (May 20), H&M celebrates the opening of its world largest store in the Herald Square, New York City.

On an area of approximate 63,000 sq ft (around 5,852 sq m), the four-floor store will offer the whole range of H&M fashion, including women’s and men’s collections, H&M Sport, H&M Mama, cosmetics, children´s collection as well as H&M’s Home collection and a special shoe department for women and men.

The store has two main street entrances and stands out with a custom-designed modern glass facade with LCD screen. Mirror and terrazzo tiled details and an atrium on the second level are amongst the store design highlights. The Herald Square store marks the retailer's 13th location in Manhattan, since H&M opened its first store on New York’s Fifth Avenue thirteen years ago.

To celebrate the opening day, musician John Legend will perform on-site and twenty winners will be chosen at random for a meet and greet. H&M Herald Center will also have several giveaways as well as vouchers for 20% off for donating old pieces of clothing.
