Armani opens the new Armani/Istanbul concept store at Avenue Abdi Ipekçi 41, in Nisantasi. Located in the European part of the city, the concept store will offer six sales floors with a total surface area of about 1,800 sqm. Next to the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani collections, the store will also feature EA7, the Armani sports brand, and Armani Jeans, a collection based on denim, but also offers a range of casual ready-to-wear styles.

The interior design is coined by curved and enveloping lines that create a common design thread and the color palette of natural colors like grey, silver and sand, contrasting with white ivory and black, as well as a bamboo motif that is displayed at the staircases.

The opening of the store is part of the brand’s strategic program, inaugurated in 2000, of opening concept stores around the world.

“I am very proud of this opening because it represents an important step in my brand's expansion strategy, which is focusing on international world cities: as a transcontinental city, straddling Europe and Asia, Istanbul is, of course, truly cosmopolitan. The new shops within the concept store, including the first in the city dedicated to Giorgio Armani collections, follow a principle of integration and harmony while retaining recognisable, distinctive features that belong to the individual brands. I wanted the whole space to embody the articulated consistency of my world, particularly visually,” says Giorgio Armani.
