Following aspirations to increase activity and presence on the Chinese market, Geox has announced a new partnership with Chinese retail specialist Ri Qing, which will now be responsible for the brand’s distribution in China. The contract includes the opening of 400 points of sale by the year 2017, including various shop-in-shops.

In March 2012 Geox founded a subsidiary in Shanghai, now led by two managers, and last year opened its first flagship store in Hong Kong. The company plans to open 30 more stores in Hong Kong and Macao by 2014 and up to 100 stores in Beijing and Shanghai by 2016.
