Ziggy Stardust, Thin White Duke and Halloween Jack are some of the characters that Bowie has interpreted throughout the stylish and chameleon-like pop star career.

The exhibit, taking place from 5 March to 10 May 2015, at Ono Arte Contemporanea in Via Santa Margherita 10, presents about 50 images taken from Sukita’s archive on Bowie.

For the occasion Gas is also launching a limited and numbered edition collection of 2,000 t-shirts presenting some of most impressive shots of the renowned pop-star by Masayoshi Sukita. The images chosen are taken from the shoot made for the cover of the album “Heroes” and are “Bowie V-2 Schneider” and “Bowie MY-MY / MY-MY”.

Barbara Grotto, marketing and communication manager, Gas, commented: “Originality, authenticity, desire for freedom and a speck of rebellion characterise the attitude that music and denim worlds have always shared. It has been an honour being involved and interpreting one of the most influential artists of all times, who innovated most music, showbiz, fashion and style, and continues to be a most important part in our culture.”

The limited edition t-shirts will be sold through the authorized Gas stores and online.
