In fall 2014, global retailer Gap Inc. will introduce the Gap brand in Slovenia and Austria in cooperation with new partners. After launching in five new markets in 2013 (Hungary, Paraguay, Peru, Brazil and Costa Rica), Gap is currently presented through stores in almost 50 countries.

For the launch in Slovenia partner Magistrat International has been selected to open three stores in the capital city of Ljubljana. Two stand-alone stores, one for adults and one for kids and baby, will be opened in the City Park shopping center. The Emporium department store will feature the full collection of men’s, women’s, kids and baby. All locations are scheduled to open by September 2014.

In October 2014, Gap will open its first store in Vienna, Austria, in cooperation with Gottex Brands, part of the Trimera Group. Located at the Donauzentrum Mall, the free-standing Gap store will provide the full collection of men’s, women, kids and baby.

Gap Inc. is offering clothing, accessories, and personal care products for men, women, children and babies under the Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime, Athleta, and Intermix brands. Fiscal year 2013 net sales registered $16.1 billion dollar. Gap Inc. products are available in over 90 countries worldwide through about 3,100 company-operated stores, over 350 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites.
